Hey Reader, sorry for the late send today, but I set my initial plan aside to write a new email because of this crazy launch I'm watching. Let me tell you about it... One of my oldest internet friends, Nat Eliason, is in the middle of a $200,000 (and counting) course launch — all because he started sharing screenshots and videos of how he’s using AI to build custom apps. What’s even more remarkable? This success unfolded over just a few weeks, and it’s a masterclass in the power of building in public and sharing what you know. The Spark: From Personal Projects to Public DemandIt all started with a simple idea: build apps to solve his own problems. Nat’s first app was a world-building tool to help him write his novel, Husk. Then he built a podcast hosting site. Then a Pomodoro timer. The apps kept coming, and so did the interest. As Nat shared screenshots, workflows, and ideas, people began to take notice. They wanted to know how he was building these tools — especially since Nat is a solid coder, but not some elite programmer. A few of us (myself included) encouraged him to package his process into a resource. Nat listened, and the rest is history. The Course: “Build Your Own Life Coach”On January 2, Nat launched Build Your Own Life Coach, a course designed to help anyone — even non-coders — build custom software with AI. The response was overwhelming:
In this course, you’ll:

And yes, Nat has a large audience and has been in the content game for a decade. But that’s part of the lesson:
A Beginner’s Advantage: Your First $5KLet’s talk about what this could mean for you: Nat could have easily added a group coaching tier at $3,000+ and gotten 10 people to sign up. That’s an additional $30,000! But what if you focused on smaller wins? If 5 people paid you $3,000 to learn something you’re really good at, how would that change your business? Heck, the first $1,000 is a major win. Even a “beginner win” of $5,000 can be transformative. Following Nat’s playbook — solving problems, sharing your process, and helping others — sets the stage for success, whether you’re aiming for $5K or $50K. This is your reminder that great things happen when you share what you’re working on. What’s your next big idea? One idea have is to create a HeyCreator "map" that takes you through the creator journey, one step at a time! |
